Terms of Use (Creators)

Dorthi provides a platform for creating and operating a "Dorthi" — a digital twin powered by AI. As a creator, you can build your Dorthi using Mind (knowledge base), Interview (voice and text training), voice samples, and integrations (e.g. LinkedIn, YouTube). You may offer subscriptions and paid features to your audience. By using the creator services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and where applicable our Biometric Consent notice.

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. Failure to maintain accurate information may result in termination of your account.

Subscription and payment processing are handled through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to the applicable plan terms, billing cycle, and fees. Refunds are subject to our refund policy and applicable law. Usage limits (e.g. voice minutes, words) apply as described in your plan; overages may incur additional charges or restrictions. You may cancel in accordance with your plan and Stripe billing.

You retain ownership of content you upload (knowledge, voice, profile, etc.). You grant Dorthi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display that content as necessary to operate the Service — including training and running your Dorthi, storing conversations, and providing voice and transcription features. You represent that you have all rights needed to grant this license and that your content does not violate any law or third-party rights.

The Dorthi platform, software, design, and branding are owned by Dorthi or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of our technology or branding without written permission. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws.
• Upload content that infringes others' IP, is defamatory, or harmful.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or automate access to the Service beyond permitted use.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without authorization.
• Circumvent security, access controls, or usage limits.

The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g. LinkedIn, Slack, Stripe). Your use of those integrations is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and we do not guarantee their availability or accuracy.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account and access if you breach these Terms or for other reasons with notice where required. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. liability limits, IP) will survive.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dorthi and its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
